Taiwan has some of the most challenging approaches in the Asian continent and what about Shanghai or Beijing’s International Airport ? You’ll fly to China in style and meet some pretty nasty weather as you negotiate circling VOR and NDB transitions to capture the ILS for some crosswind approaches that will allow you to experience a brand new level of simulation realism. force you to become complacent on final approach but there are a few tips on negotiating short final in this mysterious land. You’ll see giraffe, elephants and an assortment of wildlife come to view during the short final and plenty of dense vegetation in humid and very hot conditions so watch your instrument panel and put on a little extra airspeed on short final and remember to brake hard at touchdown… it’s best to keep those elephants off the runway.
